The replaceable wearing plate is an extra bottom plate in the lower rotor housing (not in TP 100 and TP 150), which helps minimizing the maintenance cost in connection with the wearing in the rotor housing. The changeable wearing plate ensures that a worn bottom plate only takes max. one hour to change.
When comparing with other suppliers, where it is necessary do dismantle the rotor and cut out the worn plate and afterwards weld a new one in, the operation can take up to 10 times as long.
