Sliverbreakers

 

Sliverbreakers are used in those cases where high requirements to the uniformity of the chip quality are necessary.

The sliverbreakers are manufactured in hardend steel and have between 3-8 fingers depending on the wood chipper model.

The sliverbreakers are mounted onto the disc after the knives. The tree will pass the knives first and then "break" when passing the sliverbreakers. This way you minimize the risk for long chips which differ in size from the majority of the chip volume.

• Sliverbreakers are standard on TP 230 PTO/PTO K og TP 270 PTO/PTO K

• Sliverbreakers are available in two versions depending on how uniform the chips must be (except from TP 130 og TP 160, only one version for these machines)

• Sliverbreakers can be mounted onto all park and forest machines.
